    • JB Anacostia-Bolling on-base housing is privatized and operated by Hunt Military Housing - Bolling (888) 294-8338. They offer 3-4 homes based upon rank and family size. The home amenities can include: Stainless steel appliances, central A/C, washer/dryer hookups and a utility allowance. The community amenities include: Swimming pool, splash park, softball field, dog park and fitness center.

    The mission of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is to provide support to over 17,000 military personnel as well as over 40 tenant units. Bolling Field has always offered ceremonial support to the White House, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of the Air Force, and the United State Air Force Honor Guard. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is home to the Defense Intelligence Agency which moved most of its operations to the base in 1987.

    Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is a consolidation of Naval Support Facility Anacostia and Bolling Air Force Base. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling was established in October 2010 as part of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Initiative.
