    JB Anacostia-Bolling, DC - Educational Services

    The Education office at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is located in Building 11. The education office offers college programs as well as basic skills education. The Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling education office has testing facilities for the SAT, ACT, GRE and GED as well as many others. Career counseling and financial aid are also offered. The normal hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 0800-1600 and Friday from 1000-1600.

    Adult Education

    The 11th Wing Adult Education Center on Bolling AFB and satellite office at the Pentagon, provide full education support and services. On-base education programs are designed to provide career-long learning. In addition to the on-base education programs, the Metro area contains a large number of excellent higher education facilities. Contact the Education Office at 202-767-5348 for more information.

    Continuing Education

    The Bolling Education Center offers the SAT, ACT and ASE testing on a limited basis. CLEP testing is conducted weekly. Exams from the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Services (DANTES), which include College Level Examinations Program (CLEP) and DANTES subject standardized tests and certifications, are available on a regular basis.

    College

    The education and training flight provides members of the 11th Wing and their families the opportunity to achieve their individual educational goals. The education center provides many educational services, both in the center and through the outreach education program.

    Webster University, University of Maryland-University College and Central Texas College offer classes at Bolling Monday through Saturday.

    Counselors and specialists help with applications for commissioning and degree planning. Air Force Institute of Technology courses and other professional military education courses such as Squadron Officer School, Air Command & Staff College, Air War College and Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy can be done by correspondence and/or seminar. The end-of-course examinations are also available.
